Mentid

Not a factory tool – this one's for me. I wanted a private, quiet place to think: to journal, to make decisions on purpose instead of on impulse, and to look back honestly at how they turned out. So I built one.

The problem

Most note apps are built to pull you back in, not to help you think. I wanted the opposite – somewhere to slow down, record a decision and why I made it, and later check how it actually went.

The solution

Mentid is a "mental tidy" app with four parts – Journal, Decide, Close and Ledger.

  • Decide separates a real choice from just noting something, and walks from gut reaction to a deeper look.
  • Close is a short end-of-day review.
  • It tracks your calibration – you record how sure you were, then later what happened, so the gap between the two becomes visible over time.

What changed

I use it daily. Once enough decisions are logged, it starts surfacing similar past ones, so you can see how a choice like this went last time. It's an installable app, works offline, and keeps everything on your own device.

See it live

It’s live – you can try it or install it to your phone.
